Tomi Olutunfese

Tomi Olutunfese was born in Sango, Ibadan, where she spent the first few years of her life. Tomi graduated with a Law Degree (with Honors) from one of the top most public Universities in Nigeria and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2008. She worked with a few law firms in Nigeria before relocating to Canada in 2012.

Upon arriving in Canada as an immigrant, Tomi took a Diploma in International Business Management, graduated top of her class and was awarded the President’s Honor Roll for her performance in the program. Tomi later worked at various employment after graduating, including working as a Customer Service Agent for a telecoms company, working as a Cashier at a bank, whilst writing her law exams to be able to practice law in Canada. Tomi wrote all her NCA Qualification exams at once and passed all.

Tomi was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2016 and less than 2 years later, she established her own legal practice by buying out a 35 year old successful law practice from her former principal. Tomi’s legal career spans over 15 years and she has represented clients at various levels of court, including successfully representing a client at the Court of Appeal, Canada, few weeks after being called to the Bar. Tomi runs 2 offices and employs 7 full-time staff at both locations.

Tomi’s drive to be successful in anything she does stems from her passion to help other and create a pathway for others. Whilst at University, Tomi was very involved in her campus outreach fellowship which catered for young people, helping them acquire various skills, establish businesses and mentor them…, helping them achieve their dreams, whilst also…organizing various programmes…

Tomi presently sponsors a Widows Support Initiative which caters for families of Widows, funding their children’s education, providing grants to widows to establish businesses, providing food and health care to widows, amongst other needs.

Tomi has been a part of the Nxtion Family since inception and her journey so far has been sharpened by following and listening to PT. Tomi continues to find ways to impact her community, whilst also breaking barriers in the legal field and mentoring young people.
